Electric Shavers

I'd like to see what consumer reports shows too but don't have a valid subscription at this time as i am cheap.

Never used one that came that close to a real razor (owned Remingtons, Brauns Panasonics and Norelcos over the years). But nothing beats them when you're running late in the morning or need a quick touch up shave.

They don't give a close shave but tends to be convenient for daily upkeep. I use a Panasonic that works fairly well.

I've got a Norelco from 13+ years ago. No idea what people talk about not getting a close shave. I have no stubble left and a perfectly smooth face when I get done shaving. I think lots of people are just too incompetent to figure out how to use an electric shaver...

I have a Braun Syncro. It offers a very good shave, but nothing like the Mach 3 from Gillette. I use the electric when I'm in a rush and don't have the time really to wet shave with a regular razor.

Braun Syncro all the way, why even use a regular shaver anymore? It's like reverting to analog from digital.

Is it actually physically possible to get as close a shave using an electric? I thought the closest possible would have to be actually scrapping a razor across your face as opposed to moving blades behind thin cages.

Speaking of razors, where is the best place to buy Mach3 Turbo Cartridges for cheap?

everyones beard is different. my hair is curly and thick, grows in different angles.
about once every 2 years ill buy the most expensive electric razor and try it out, everytime i end up returning or hating it

Buy in bulk on eBay.
I'll have to check that out, I hate paying like $9 for 4 razors (non-Turbo Mach3)
Yeah...replacement razors are rip offs....

you get 8 pack mach 3 throwaway for 10 -11 bucks which last me about 2-3 months

If all you grow is peach fuzz, then you don't need a closer shave.

Just missed a guy on ebay who had a pack of 16 for $22 shipped.... I'm gonna wait out till another seller has the same quantity....

I use both the Mach III as well as an electric razor.

Both provide me with an extremely smooth shave, but I prefer the Mach III for detailed workings, and the electric razor for a quick shave, or trim.

Electric razor all the way.

My skin is very sensitive. If I use a regular razor I get a rash all over, specially in the moustache area.

Which reminds me, I'm out of blades, looks like I'll be making a pit stop by Sam's on the way home now.
