It will be used indoors at work during the winter, and outdoors in the spring and summer in the parking lot.

Requirements. Easy to control/maneuver for a 24 yr old beginner being shown how by an expert (friend at work).

One room it will be flying in is about 10 feet tall, and 40x40 or so. The other area is the 2.5 story lobby that is fairly large.

I will be flying this over my break(night shift, empty building), so while battery life isnt a concern, I will be spending at most 15-20 mins out there at a time. Prefer a fast charging one.

Any advice? :) thanks

Edit: Already have a 15mph rc car that is fun to drive in the lobby, but it makes marks on the carpet leading to questions. Any other RC suggestions I am open to as well :)

Ive seen probably 15-20 models under $100, and well over 50 models for under $200

If it is a fully functional mini helicopteR I wouldnt complain, this isnt exactly a large area.

The base line, forward backward side to side mini's start at $40 with the dragonfly mini. i might just pick one of those up, but flytime of 5 mins is kinda lame.

I will take a look around. I should have mentioned that it needs to be Electric not gas. I know the gas ones are much more.

Im going to try to write some scripts that will mostly automate it, but occasionally there needs to be phone calls made and answered so that doesnt work completely

Here is a link to some pictures. http://www.venom-aircorps.com/product/nr-heli/index.htm

Bruce from http://www.rushrc.com/shop/ should be able to hook you up.

I was looking at

http://www.raidentech.com/6dr3daecopir.html

and

http://www.raidentech.com/newbe63dz4dr.html

for 165 and 185 and couldnt figure out the differences.

actually I guess there are a lot of models in my price range on

http://www.raidentech.com/rchelicopters.html

that page, but i still have no clue which are better :)

BTW yes I realize that the link I gave says out of stock until March... you can find that heli at a local RC store. My brother in law got one of those over the weekend and we spent several hours playing with it.

An excellent place to look for info is the RCUniverse forums. That is one HUGE message board... kinda like the RC equivalent of Anandtech. ;)
