Electric Razors... what to get?

I have to shave daily for my new job, and my skin gets red and irritated shaving so much. I've heard that electric ones don't irritate as much, so I want to get one.

I have no idea what style or brand to get, so suggestions are welcome.

I am also curious as to a good electric razor as I need one when I go to the woods.

Also, you should use sensitive skin shaving cream and aftershave and see if that doesn't help.

You cannot beat shaving in the shower. Dry shaving sucks.

Take a hot shower, then use Mach3 with good shaving gel.

She says it gives me a close shave, so it must be good.


I love the damn thing, zero irritation and don't need to clean it.

The Braun is nice but you must remember that the base has a cart with fluid in it that WILL spill if knocked over. The fluid is flammable too.

Braun foil electric > any stupid blade/cream/soap combo.
I get the closest damn shave EVER on my foil, im done with blades for good, go Braun OP and save yourself considerable moneys in the longrun.

Yup. I used to shave at night before I went to bed because of the irritation so it would be fine by the time I wake up, but now I just shave after I shower and use Edge Advanced Shaving Gel, Sensitive Skin with Aloe with a Mach3 Turbo. Text
