Electric razors what is better Rotary or Straight cutter kind?

Have used a Mach 3 for nearly 20 years. I bought a rotating one when I was a teenager but I thought the thing nicked my skin all the time so I didn;t use it more than a few times.

Hard to believe Mach 3 is that old already. Man do I feel old. Just like how I see the movie Braveheart was just as old. Where does the time go! At least I'm not gray yet. God forbid.
