odd...i could have sworn i made a post about an electric razor but i can't find it and not sure why it would have been deleted.

anyway, i got one - the Braun Syncro 7526.

do you guys who use one still feel the need to use a regular razor after using the electric?
i mean, it does a fairly good job but there's still small patches that it misses and no matter how many times or how many different ways i run the razor over them, it doesn't cut them.

also, maybe i need to get used to it, but my face is pretty irritated after using it.
should i use some kind of gel or anything on my face 1st or maybe wet my face with water?

manual says don't clean the shaver with water but nothing about shaving with a wet face.
i'm guessing thats a no also

When I started using an electric razor I realized the same thing. It really irratated my skin. What I do now is not push as hard and move in circles. Don't go over the same area too much.

I have a Phillishave CoolSkin... It does the job, but not as well as the M3 power.

i used to have one a few years ago and it didn't do the job i thought it would. i thought maybe it wasn't a very good one or something, but its abou the same as this one.

maybe i just need to get used to it like you said.

I got used to the irritation. If you take your time, you can get all the patches cut cleanly.

I had the Synchro 7526 until it broke. I always had to touch up with a safety razor. I replaced it with a new Activator 8255(?) and it's GREAT. No need to touch up.

oh...and it will take 2 to 3 weeks for your hair growth to adjust to an electric razor

I still despise electric razors. I'm switching to a straight blade as soon as I can find one.
