I just received my new computer from NewEgg and there seems to be a problem with a short or the ground. I couldn't seem to get it to work in my case so i put it together outside the case, and when i was putting in the windows cd i noticed it shocked me a bit. I figured this was just becuase it was out of the case but when i put it all inside the case it did the same thing.

I've done everythign i can think of and all connections seem to be fine but It still has a slight electic current running through pretty much EVERYTHING on my computer.

Any suggestions?

Check your outlet! You might have a bad ground or miswired outlet, not good on components.

It sounds like the original outlet hot and common wires are reversed and this needs to be fixed too.

Well guess what, I'm at a lan party right now and there is the same wiring fault! Touch the computer case and ZZZZAAAPP! Ouch. So far all the systems work ok but I told the guy to get it rewired properly.
