Electric car does 0-60 in 2.3 sec

That would suck to crash that thing at 100mph.

that would be the only reason I would want to own one. to see it explode when it hits the wall doing 100.

btw it really doesn't surprise me that an electric car has such amazing acceleration. electric motors have instant on torque and more of it readily available.

While I am more than likely going well beyond my technical know how, I think it'd be more fun to build my own RC car that has crazy high performance rather than pay someone $1000 for theirs.

The satisfaction of building something so bad ass cannot be ignored!

this kind of performance has been attainable for a while, but since it isn't competition legal nobody has bothered to produce it. only a huge company could break even on it.

nothing really unusual about the car, other than the aero floor. i would compare this to a real-life veyron: the fastest off the shelf, but smoked on a race track.
