I have no sympathy.

Those protestors are just a bunch of losers who can't accept the result.

You started a riot and now you have to pay for consequences.

No sarcasm.

The western media is just using these minorities to portrait Iran as a bad country. Just like they do with China.

However the reality is far from the truth that Western media is showing.

Why don't CNN/FOX show some footages of American soldiers raping and killing girls in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think its time to air drop some AKs for the revolutionaries to even up the odds a bit against the government. Maybe they will think twice about shooting when a protester could be packing some heat.

This is priceless. It's what I expected when I saw the first thread a few days ago about the iranians rebelling against the election results and repression in general. I figured the usual law and order posters here would say that the iranians should just live with it.

God blessed this election. Why is it being questioned...

Come back when American soldiers are shooting Iraqis protesting the streets. Come back when Iranians hold accountable the people responsible for the killings of the protesters.

The Iranian government is scared shitless which is why they have blocked cell phone service, internet access, and restricted media reporters from reporting the events on the ground.

Americans invaded Iraq and killed thousands, I don't see Americans protesting. How ironic.

Iran government is not scared. They are smart.

This is just like Tibet all over again.

The Western media and government is trying to portrait Iran as evil.

this video is so super sad

young girl shot and killed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjQxq5N--Kc

That video will overthrow the government if the iranians get access to it.

holy shit :( That made me very sad. Why the hell would they shoot a young girl. Bastards

Iranians will get access to it. Just not now. Iran can't continue to block off the Internet and satellite stations forever.

Many Iranains have seen it and know her name now - Neda. There are hundreds of posts about here on Twitter and other sites. She is being seen as a symbol by many : " Her name was ??? (#Neda), which means voice or call in Farsi. She is the voice of the people, a call to freedom "

Another post from somone there

"Faranak Zarrinabadi at 6:18pm June 20

Khameneie! You called yourself, the father of all orphans of Iran-Iraq war,but here you made a father witness the martyrdom of his daughter,in minutes,in his arms. You took away a mans, but Iran's daughter. He didnt believe it at first, saying:Neda, dont be afraid, dont be afraid..then when blood covered her face,he came to and cried:Neda,stay..Neda,stay... Read More!....The doctor who was there was helpless as the shot was in the chest. My dear Neda, you are now loved by all more than ever,my tears are nonstop for you,but you died for Iran to be free and Im proud of you,may you rest in peace in heaven. And you Khameneie, you will certainly pay for this and definitely go to hell!"

Irony not found. There are many Americans who protest the Iraq War. There are many on this board including myself.

So the millions of iranians protesting are simply puppets of western media and government? Holy shit. I had no idea they had this much power. Now, I'm really scared.

Ruhollah Khomeini is dead... has been for 20 years now.

Ali Khamenei is probably who you meant, though.

The people who side with the government are in general going to be more religiously conservative. It is possible that she was targeted by someone who believes women should be wearing traditional muslim dress instead of dressing like westerners.

Of course it's also possible that she was shot because she was wearing Crip colors in a Blood neighborhood. Me, I'm gonna guess it was just an accident on the set of the latest Crow sequel... continuing the Brandon Lee curse.

I mean what the heck... as long as we're just throwing out anything that falls under the category of "it is possible" without one whit of evidence, anecdotal or otherwise, one theory's as good as another.

She wouldn't have been singled out. Basically all the protesters, male and female, are dressed in a similar manner.

If that is true about her name then it is amazingly poetic.

She could easily become the center piece of the revolution. Someone who died to while trying to give a voice to her people.
