I know they said they were building a whole new engine for this game, but from that footage the textures look really similar to oblivion (though overall a noticeable improvement). Either way it looks epic, and will be on my must buy list.

Put me in a coma till 11 11 11. This is going to be the greatest game ever made.

Between this, battlefield, gears, call of duty and mass effect, this is going to be the best fall ever by a mile.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cut out even more spells. :hmm:

And land mass no doubt. The better the environment look, the more space on a disc it's going to take up, so unless they plan to have 2 or more discs on the 360, which also incurs extra fees to Microsoft, I'm betting the world will be smaller than Oblivion along with those cuts.

But hey, that just makes for more paid DLC down the line, right?

They've already said that the game world is roughly the same size as Oblivion.

Are they developing it for the 360 and then doing a port for ps3? I was sort of hoping for move support for ps3, otherwise i'll be playing it on 360

Haven't heard. Just heard that it is using a new engine that builds off the engine used for Oblivion.

I kind of doubt there will be Move support.

I doubt Move support as well. And the new engine is more of an augmentation of gamebryo than an actual new engine, and it shows in the video.

I'll definitely get this on release, but I'll get it for PC so that I can fix any mistakes the developers may make 😉

So...has anyone heard anything about the gameplay? That trailer was just eyecandy and no actual substance or content. I just hope the trend doesn't continue and they take out/simplify even more of the game. Not to mention a good story would be nice 😛 Oblivion was a bit lackluster at release for all the hype surrounding it.

Meh. I'll still get it anyway so long as it has the same level of mod support that the past games in the series had. Player-made mods really upped Morrowind and Oblivion to what they should have been.

Looks incredible, but Oblivion looked incredible... Not saying it was bad.

After Fallout, I'm really going to be missing miniature weapons of mass destruction and high speed projectiles.

Im not gonna miss the barren wasteland and just overall weirdness of fallout though.

I guess I'm the only one not impressed, especially with their track record. I'd be happy if they improved upon what needed to be improved upon with their current games than making a whole new engine.

I'm pretty sure it is just augmented Gambryo...

Just look at the trailer.
