$3 classic chicken burrito combo
that's a burrito loaded with chicken beans cheese and rice pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, and creamy avocado sauce.

plus a side.. i like me a mac n cheese

AND a drink...

the side alone costs $1.89.. and the burrito usually costs $3.30 alone...

i go there liek everyday nao 😀

There was a restaurant in MD with the same name (don't know if they're connected in any way) that was shut down for having an entire staff of illegal immigrants.

The fire roasted chicken is so damn tasty!

Love that marinade they put the chicken in as its really flavorful and juicy!

I think you mean west coast, but there are definitely some out in Chicago. I've noticed that when I go inside the restaurant, the food is always fresh and they give great service by bringing it out to your table. Last time I went through the drive-thru, though, the food was the old crap that had been sitting under the lights, pretty gross. I'll only dine in there from now on.
 
maybe the burrito is good but the couple times i've had their normal chicken it wasn't very tasty... i'd say boston market was better.
 
In Northern VA we have a ton of real, mom and pop peruvian chicken joints. Beats the crap out of that stuff.

Of course, it's not $3 for a combo either, but you can get out of there for under $6 with a quarter chicken, 2 sides, and a drink.

I didn't know what the hell it was till later, it still doesn't make sense to me calling it that.
 
carnitas actually means "little meat" so it can be beef or chicken or pork or whatever. although i do admit that i find it really odd that they would refer to it like this. it's confusing, but not incorrect.

I've been on a $2.99 Shrimp/Fry basket kick at Church's Chicken lately. Imma think i'm uh gunna try your suggestion. (I usually just get the 5pc $5.99 chicken speshul there.)

 
I say this in every Mexican food thread, but the best deal is to just find a real Mexican place. Tacos, tortas, etc. are all cheap, can be healthy and taste a hell of a lot better than American fast food.

That said, el Pollo Loco is actually pretty good.
