El Matador - Max Payne on steroids.

Just finished playing 2 demos that are available on gamespot. Graphics are way better than Max Payne. Gameplay its great, but its missing the dark atmosphere of Max. You still play a cop but this time you're on the swat team playing along with other team members. The first demo is outside.
Runs and looks great on pc amd64/1GB ram BFG6800GT.

Didn't this start out as a mod for Max Payne 2, then shift to a new game entirely?

Or maybe I'm thinking of something else completely..

Anyways there was no wait at filefront and it's going pretty good 450-500KB/sec.

Has anyone tried it and had it scale well on a low end system*? I haven't bothered to upgrade my rig in a _long_ time, but loved MP1 & 2. TIA.



*In this case, "low end" is an FX 5200, 2800+, 1GB Ram.
