You're not gonna get much action on that topic ... the only thing I have for you is that my bro once went as El Debarge on Halloween .... and people thought he was going as a cross-dresser (!).
 
I do remember El Debarge from that lame music video for "The Rhythm of the Night" that was shown in the movie The Last Dragon. Sho'nuff!
