EL Akasa SATA cable work in SATA II?

Well pretty much what the title says, i got 4 SATA 2 and 4 SATA 1 connectors, and i have a Maxtor Diamondmax 10 16mb cache NCQ drive as well as a Raptor 74Gb.

Would those cables work with SATA 2 or just SATA 1?

And should i put the maxtor as SATA 2 as i gather SATA 2 can support NCQ? And should i put the Raptor as SATA 1? Or should i just put them all as either one?
