Eject DVD from Mac Mini with no OS

I have a mac mini that somebody brought me with a dead hdd. So I've replaced the disk, upgraded the RAM, put it all back together, and now realized that there is a disk in there already so I can't insert the OS X dvd for a reinstall.

I've tried holding the space bar down at boot, holding the left mouse button at boot, pressing Command + Option + O + F at boot (prompt never appears)... nothing works. Any ideas other than opening this pain in the ass back up again? :\

If F12 doesn't work, it's not such a big deal to take it apart to get the CD out. After all you just had the thing opened up. You do realize you can boot from a usb device? You could get the OS installed from a usb stick or usb cdrom and get around to ejecting when you get a round Tuit.
