Are there a lot of Germans in Indiana? Or are you actually going to Germany or deal with German companies in your line of work?

There are a few big German towns here but that's not the reason I'm learning it. I've always been interested in learning German (well, at least for a few years) but never found any software that taught it that was worth a crap.

Although I would like to do something like international finance after college and I figured why not learn some before taking German classes in college when I've got basically the rest of the summer to spare (the evenings anyway) :p
