Eight months and I've finished Oblivion!

Oblivion. What a testiment that software drives hardware. I started playing Oblivion with an AMD 3700 San Diego and a 7900GT. Three cpus and three graphics cards later, I've finally finished the game! It was an E6600 @3.4 and an 8800GTX that finally gave me liquid smooth gameplay. Oh the money I spent upgrading to play this game maxed out.

I took breaks, but all in all spent 155+ hours playing Oblivion. Completed all guild quests, Daedric quests, misc quests, the main quest, and explored the world. I became a master assasin, thief, and warrior. I amased a fortune and had four houses! I had enough loot and weapons to arm a small country.

Oh my, what do I do now? Now that this "reality" is over, what's next? Buy the expansion pak? Perhaps I should get a life again. Maybe I should start working out. Maybe I could get a girlfriend again.

I'm gonna miss my Oblivion life...

shivering isles is pretty good. weird but good. i am mayber 3 hours into it.

There's the retail and fan made expansions to play, and the other character classes. Good for another 8 months I bet.

though my machine could run oblivion on the highest setting no problems. with shivering isles it seems to stutter every now and t hen.

Is oblivion better on the PC or XBox360? It looks prety good on a 42 in Plasma here.

Dang, I became bored before too long with the game.

I'll go back in another month or so, after I get my 2407 panel and new video card.
