What do you think of eharmony.com? I just did the lengthy test and I wonder if it's really just bull. I don't take it serious and wanted to see what the tests would be like. Have you used it? How did it work for you?

I don't care.

What definies whether I like someone is observing them in a reactionary approach. I have yet to see something that can emulate that effectively on the internet where everyone is at home, in their own little information protectorate.

I don't think a test can match you perfectly to someone. I'm not against internet dating or not, hell that's how i met who I'm seeing now BUT, a test can't tell/match you with someone. It's all in how you interact with each other.

Especially when you first meet as it sets a precedent for the relationship, for better or worse.

People underestimate the importance of coincidence and spontenaiety as the foundation for a relationship.

Circumstance is much more important than a LOT of people give it credit for.

worked great for me. our first date we clicked instantly.

I'm a little older though and finding quality people who aren't married and meet up to my expectations and goals in life can be difficult.

If I'm still single after I get out of grad school and have a real job, I'll probably give it a shot.

Keep in mind there are a lot more dudes on there (like all internet dating services). For women the supply outweighs the demand, so of course they can be more selective.

There are a lot of fat women, too. If you don't mind that then np ;)

Ever heard of a temperment test? My understanding is this is exactly what eharmony gives you, a temperment test they use to match you up with someone having complimentary results.

well I for one believe in those psych tests.

The on eHarmony gave me was dead on. To a T. Just like most other psych/personality/business tests I've taken.

The cool thing about eHarmony is the "must have/can't stand" section. I mean why even date a girl if she has traits/backgrounds that I can't stand? why spend 3 months trying to figure these things out?
