Eh? The IBM NetVista A40i PC uses an AMD CPU?

Wow...I didn't know AMD was in IBM...but I just saw an add on TV that teh NetVista A40i PC from IBM uses a Duron 800.

IBM uses AMD chips...that's a pretty major win for AMD....

I thought only Dell was the major PC manufacturer that's not using AMD. Compaq, gateway, Ibm, Hp, Micron they're all using AMD cpu's.

However they only use AMD's cpu in there consumer based pc's while there business based pc's are still mostly intel based, but it's starting to change.
