------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------CoCommon Courtesy asks a very good question, For an er a errr mumble response, maybe those bulwarks of stability in Lebanon or Pakistan. But Turkey may certainly qualify. And Post Shah Iran also managed the post Shah succession question after Ayottallah #1 died. I can never remember how to spell his name, so I never name him.

But still, the Egyptian succession question may prove huge for the mid-east. If nothing else, Mubarak took awhile to consolidate power, but Egypt has done fairly well meanwhile.
