That was no secret.
We all knew that was going to happen!
One thing I am thankful for is that the Muslim Brotherhood has promised NOT to field a candidate for president!!

Perhaps the Muslim brotherhood is not as bad as we previously thought they might be....

If you will pardon me...I will pull up a chair and open a nice cold can of kosher beer!!

CAIRO – The long banned Muslim Brotherhood said Tuesday it will form a political party once democracy is established in Egypt but promised not to field a candidate for president, trying to allay fears at home and abroad that it seeks power. Still, the fundamentalist movement is poised to be a significant player in the new order.

Egypt's new military rulers gave a strong sign they recognize that the Brotherhood, which calls for creation of an Islamic state in the Arab world's most populous nation, can no longer be barred from politics after the mass uprising that forced out President Hosni Mubarak with 18 days of protests.

The Armed Forces Supreme Council included a former Brotherhood lawmaker on an eight-member panel tasked with amending the constitution enough to allow democratic elections later this year.

The Muslim brotherhood has no cred in Egypt, especially with the opposition that brought down Israeli's buddy in Mubarak.

But if Egypt is to become a democracy, what is wrong with the MB being allowed to form its own political party in Egypt? After all, an Egyptian democracy should also allow the Israeli brotherhood to found its own political party inside of Egypt. But when our OP JEDY comes to the realization that an Israeli brotherhood party in Egypt has as much Egyptian cred as MB party in Egypt, maybe ole JEDIY will finally shut up. The Muslim brotherhood has done nothing for the Egyptian people and either has Israel.

That fact that JEDIY ignores is that people in Egypt no longer blame Israel, they blame their own internal corruption instead.

I'm going to borrow the "Israeli brotherhood" phrase and call it the "Zionist Brotherhood".

Umm no! In fact you and Lemon law both try to put words into my mouth that I never said......
What I said was -- Perhaps the Muslim brotherhood is not as bad as we previously thought they might be......

Motto of the Muslim Brotherhood

- Allah is our objective.
- The Prophet is our leader.
- Qur'an is our law.
- Jihad is our way.
- Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

So there you go, a religion of hate, war and martyrdom. All Muslims want to die in the name of Allah so they can a ticket to Islamic paradise filled with 72 virgin females and virgin boys.

Also,

Hassan al Banna:
"It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated; to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet."

BTW, Their now public stated goals are most definitely AGAINST Freedom!

"In the group's belief, the Quran and Sunna constitute a perfect way of life and social and political organization that God has set out for man. Islamic governments must be based on this system and eventually unified in a Caliphate. The MB goal, as stated by Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna was to reclaim Islam’s manifest destiny, an empire, stretching from Spain to Indonesia.[20] It preaches that Islam enjoins man to strive for social justice, the eradication of poverty and corruption, and political freedom to the extent allowed by the laws of Islam. The Brotherhood strongly opposes Western colonialism, and helped overthrow the pro-western monarchies in Egypt and other Muslim nations during the early 20th century.

On the issue of women and gender the Muslim Brotherhood interprets Islam very traditionally. Its founder called for "a campaign against ostentation in dress and loose behavior," "segregation of male and female students," a separate curriculum for girls, and "the prohibition of dancing and other such pastimes..."[21] The MB is a movement, not a political party, but members have created political parties in several countries, such as the Islamic Action Front in Jordan and Hamas in Gaza and the West Bank. These parties are staffed by Brotherhood members but kept independent from the MB to some degree.[22]"

also one thing they don't share is Jesus. Plus, the Koran disputes the trinity of God (The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost),saying that there is one Allah, and that the other two are not needed. So, in my view, even the "non-radical" Muslim religious believers know that the root of their belief system is ultimately non-tolerant of the Christian belief system and therefore the Christians must be eliminated and/or forced to shut up.

Edit how does this concern Israel?

It doesn`t what happens will happen and we will dseal with things as they happen....

I believe I stated that perhaps the Muslim brotherhood was not what we were led to believe..let us wait and see....

As far as being scared only a total embicle would call me scared!

Earth to JediY, earth to JediY, why are you playing the broken record of panic panic panic, the Muslin Brother hood is a coming, the Muslim brotherhood is a coming, when its not coming at all, at least from Egypt.

And in terms of domination, and to borrow a better phrase from igas, the creed of the Muslim brotherhood dominance is exactly the same as the Zionist brotherhood. Neither believe in equal rights for all, and Zionists repress far more people in Israel than the MB does in Egypt.

After that JEDIY, your so vain, you think the Egyptian revolt against Mubarak is all about Israel, don't you don't you.
