Ego self-propelled vs Kobalt self-propelled

Which does everyone recommend? With the discounts going on at Dollar General for Lowe’s gift cards, I’ve been thinking about picking up the 80v Kobalt mower and trimmer.

From what I’ve read, the Ego is slightly better, but it would be more expensive. I’m trying to minimize expenditures of course which is why I’m strongly considering the Kobalt. It’s essentially a Greenworks machine that Lowe’s partnered with to tag their brand on.

Would love some insight! Before anyone asks, I’m dead set on an electric mower.

i have had a couple of the black and deckers and like them a lot, with the lead acid batteries.

my co worker likes the e-go.

FWIW Consumer Reports ranks the Ego LM2101 as the best self propelled electric. I didn't see the Kobalt self propelled rated, but their other electric models didn't fare to well.
