EGAY and lack of secure sign-in: am I the only 1 bothered by this?

I'm not talking about the option of chosing secure sign-in starting at the top of home page,
but rather the lack of that option everywhere else on e b a y (even tho you're already signed in)--ie, account status, posting to boards, beginning registration to BillPoint--all of these require signing in with your user name and pw, even though you're already signed in.

Is there javascript or something I don't know of that makes it only APPEAR that there is no secure connection in these instances, or am I the only one here that's bothered by this????!!

Sorry guys, E B A Y is a banned word over in Hot Deals, so most everyone uses "egay" as an alternative spelling.

eh :) The funny part about eb ay is that even after you login secure, everything else you do passes an unsecured login name and crypto password through the URL, i've run proxy servers and logged this info. Could be cracked easily.
