eFilm Reader-5 crashing Win2K Pro

I switched my Dell Dimension XPS B667r from Win98SE to Win2k Pro. Now my eFilm Reader-5 CF/SM USB reader won't work. Whenever I hook it up to the USB port, my computer freezes up. Any suggestions? (Has anybody else experienced this, or am I the only one?) My drivers are v3.14, the most recent available from Delkin, and their support page asserts that they are for Windows 98/2000/ME.
