I'm building AMD APU based desktop for my folks and I need efficient 250-350w ATX PSU for it. Especially I would like it to be efficient on low loads since it will be mostly idling and when you have APU, couple of RAM sticks and one SSD inside it won't use more than 30-40w when idling.

Where are you buying from? When considering the unit's efficiency, you always have to weigh that against the unit's cost. All other things being equal, it wouldn't do you any good to get an 80+ platinum unit if it costs $50 more than a bronze unit because it'd never pay itself back, not even close

You are so true, so that's why I should have put in the headline that I'm looking for efficient PSU with best performance price ratio.

I'm living in europe, so basically can get anything within EU pretty easily.

Honestly if you are getting something efficient primarily to save money, I would just get the cheapest quality brand unit you can find. At the power draws you are pulling, an efficient unit versus non will probably save you a few pennies a year if even that.

If you were pulling several hundred watts constantly I could see getting something efficient to save money.

No real good 250W psu's available, just a few models for rackmount servers.

At 300W, BeQuiet System Power 7 300W is a decent choice. FSP made, 80+ bronze, about 30 euros.

Best would be Seasonic G360 with gold rating, but it costs around 55 euros.

You might earn back the price difference, but it would take a while. Seasonic will be better quality though and likely last longer. Might also be a tad more quiet.

You might check out Enermax psu's. They have a couple lines like the NAXN or Triathlor series with 350W psu's. Depending on your budget you can choose between a 80+ or Bronze ratings. They tend to do quite well efficiency wise at lower loads.

I have this model : antec-earthwatts-ea-380d-green-380w : EA-380D
Perhaps this is a good choice for you as well. :)

The MB & APU : GA-F2A75M-HD2 + AMD A10 A6700
The motherboard is an A75 chipset based motherboard from Gigabyte.
The APU is a 3,5GHz ; 65W version.

You'll mostly be looking at FSP/Seasonic OEM devices, at the 350W point.

The Super Flower Golden Greeen HX 350W is the only gold certified retail market offering.
Should be available for €50 (http://geizhals.de/super-flower-golden-green-hx-350w-atx-2-3-sf-350p14xe-hx-a1039316.html)

This LC Power is highest rated 300W PSU: http://geizhals.de/eu/lc-power-pro-line-lc7300-v2-3-silver-shield-300w-atx-2-3-a697598.html?v=l

Otherwise the aforementioned beQuiet system power are probably the best value for money, at around 30 euro (a bit more in the 350W case, a bit less for the 300W) and a bronze rating, with a claimed average efficiency of 86%.
