Effects of dual booting

Alright, after staying awake until a mad hour, I decided to install Norton AntiVirus (2001) on the same partition that contains my Win2k SP2. Later, I booted into WindowsMe and installed the entire Norton SystemWorks 2001.

After running Win Doctor and other utilties, I noticed that the Norton utilties wanted to delete several files it is seeing as "problem" files yet I know for sure they are needed by either WinMe or Win2K.

My question is--is there any way to tweak all of the SystemWorks bundle to recognize my system is a dual boot machine and stop telling me that some of my drivers are redundant and I need to delete them, etc?

I wouldn't say anything but after agreeing with some of the suggestions from Norton, Norton AntiVirus is not correctly loading under Win2k.

Thanks again.

Absolutely! Remove all components of SystemWorks except anti-virus.

No, I need more advise than your opinion. Why would you say that?

I understand the load it puts on Win2k--causes noticable slowness. WinMe--it runs very well and frankly you need something to take care of all the hell that occurs in Win9x OSs.
