It isn't clear if the CPU or some other component is implicated, but when you reflect on the mobo compatibility claims issued against the KX133 and whatnot, it looks like AMD may have spoken too soon. Gateway did say that not all systems seem to be affected, so AMD is in the clear on that account. But when there's trouble in the Athlon forest, we all know what component to look at first. *sigh* Will there ever be a BX-strength motherboard again?
