no one will call you unless you give out your number.

LMAO :D

LordJezo, what model phone did you get? $33.00 a month sounds reasonable :)

Well, once I get my number I will let you know what it is.

What made me decide to get one? Well, I knew I was going to get Verizon and when the guy came to work today and had the 20% discount for employees of J&J I took the plunge.

At least the phone vibrates and I can just call myself all night if I get lonely.

i thought i was the last one in the universe to get one.

i pay $100/month (total) for 3 phones & the terms seem pretty good, although i still don't use it very much.

Great Deal!

But that's a home-area-only kind of plan, right?

Still, that's a good price per anytime minute, and a good price on the phone. I've had that phone for for about 9 months. The phone is solid, but expect to replace the phone battery in about a year. My battery performance is going down-down-down, whether I use the AC travel charger or desktop charger (the desktop charger is worse for me). BTW, I have cleaned all the battery and charging contacts very well, but the situation was only marginally improved.

One good thing about the battery indicator is that the low battery warning really is a warning, rather than a "say goodbye in 10 seconds or less" message. When the warning first goes off, you have a good 15-25 minutes of digital talk time left, or several hours of standby.

It's a 5 state plan, IIRC. Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and some parts of Arizona, if that's what you mean.
