i got a test monday...kinda lost.....really confused...
need a good tutorial site that explains PNP and NPN transistors...like how to find the voltages, currents....different models (hybrid-pi)...etc.
It would be kind of hard to explain it in this forum, and I dont know a site. However if you are really lost you can IM with AOL Instant Messager and I can upload to you some PDF's that my Professor at UCSD gave the class. They are really good. Screen Name is LeadFootJimmy . Easy way to think transistors - The arrow on the emmitter points to the voltage that is 0.7v lower when the transistor is switched on. An NPN transistor is switched on if the emmiter is grounded (Zero volts) and the base is 0.7v. A PNP is switched on when the emmiter is connected to Vcc (lets say 12 volts) and the base is 11.3v.
