hi.
i don't have much experience using laptops. never owned one and the only time i use one is when i check it out from university. (well actually writing this off a lattitude D600 so not completely unfamiliar)
well i was looking into the asus eee pc and founf that on black Friday other laptops will also be something around 299-350.
what do people here think is the better option. for stuff like web, Office (ms or oo.org) general usage.
i also keep digital scanned copies of all my textbooks on the computer (that is the main reason i am getting one since i don't carry my books around having a laptop is essential now).
so what does everyone think.
I'm thinking a 7" eeepc would allow me to carry it everywhere but the larger REAL laptop would have more storage, more power, larger screen also allows me to avoid scrolling sideways and actually get some work done.
all advice appreciated.
Thanks.
