1. A couple of days ago I saw a link to a specialized EE forum where tinkering guys congregate, and you can ask electronics questions there. I can't find the link any more!

2. Maybe you could answer this: I need a multiplexer for my DC connection that I could mount to the board. See this
Connector.jpg
.
I feed in one pair of wires, and on the other side of this connector, I get n pairs I could tap.

When I go to electronics warehouses like HSC, there's so much stuff in there, I get lost. And then I pick something, like a wire terminal/connector, which is not ideal, but I just don't know any better.

Last time I picked a terminal strip, and had to run little wires over the strip itself to get this multiplexer I want, but I'm sure there's got to be ready made stuff out there - this seems like such a common setup!

Thanks!

dunno, it's not really a anything. bus i guess.

term strips is probably the best, and then get the teeth that go in.. so you have two ins, and 20 out screws.. or some such

barrier&

then get the jumper bar stuff

So you want all the outputs to be on at the same time? And the inputs are DC? Then you just need to hook up wires. All of the +'s on the right side should be hard wired to the + on the left side and the same for the -'s.

A demux would connect just one of the outputs to the input at any given time depending on the value of a select signal.

This is exactly what I got at the warehouse! Neato, they have ready-made jumper bars and the teeth for this. I was actually hooking up wires directly to screws. Thanks!

He wants a single terminal block that does this (excuse the terrible drawing):
