WOW - this really shocks me. I knew the paper hasn't taken a liking to Gephardt, but Edwards? I understand their point about endorsing him, but jeez - he has no chance here in Iowa

Among the Democratic candidates, I've liked Edwards for some time now...He's a genuinely nice guy but one who sticks so strongly to his ideals that he has no chance of winning among the cutthroat types he's running among...

It's sad really...

It's a shame that Edwards is so far behind. I guess for him maybe it's best. He wouldn't last long in the snake pit that is Washington, with the ideals and solid values that he has.
