Educational forum?

I would like to have an educational forum devoted to technology. You could have one forum for all educational questions or devote for each certification/degree. I'm personally studying for my A+ and looking forward to expanding. I'm sure the forum would be more helpful to others as well as me. What do you think?

I think that's a good idea. When people have asked questions about certs previously, they invariably got some thread crapping about getting certified. A stand alone forum could help prevent some of that.

otherwise post in software (PROGRAMMING)

Well if thats true, then "The Garage" forum should be a separate website as well. Software wouldn't always be the right place, considering A+ is half hardware.

just 'cuz a thread is categorized under a broad array of subjects, doesn't mean it's not gonna overlap. it's fine if it does cover other branches.

thing is, not everyone comes to anandtech for an education in comp language. let alone how much they're going to want to know about Ax, Cx, Java x, etc.

In the past, certification questions have been in general hardware, software, tech support and OS forum. All would seem somewhat appropriate since the tests touch on all of those categories.

Creating a stand alone forum might help draw people to these forums, as someone might be able to find an answer through an internet search directed here.
