What Works:
Exceptionally good ride characteristics, unique exterior styling in a crowded crossover market, solid feel throughout.

What Needs Work:
Increased brake capabilities and/or weight reduction, gear selector needs more positions or manual function, pricing might be optimistic.

Bottom Line:
The price might be hard to foist on sophisticated buyers who know what else is out there, but the Edge offers a new and reasonably useful package.

Seems to reflect Car and Driver's test also. Not exactly a drivers car and expensive for what you get but pretty decent for a stylish minivan from ford.
