I followed one today. That backend is sooooo bland.

Well, it IS a Toyota 😉

I know, but the xB and xA, while not pretty, grab your attention. The tC doesn't. I guess that is why it is beomcing the most popular.

Not really a sports coupe if you ask me. More like a rice coupe.
Also, how does a knee airbag help you in side impact collision?

(1) Rice coupe? How so?
(2) It has side airbags optional. Besides, your argument is pretty stupid. That's like saying what good are frontal airbags in a side-impact collision. The knee airbags are there to protect your lower legs and prevent you from submarining under the steering colum in a frontal crash.

How is it a sports coupe? It's trying to immitate too many different cars without having a cohesive design. Ricer approach to styling 🙂

and a driver knee airbag (to aid in side-impact collisions)
In fact it's there to aid in front collisions.

1) Rice = useless and tacky modification to a cars interior/exterior (ex. parkbench spoilers, watermelon launcher exhausts, cut springs that cause your car to bounce more than a cheap hooker)

2) If you are buying a fvcking econobox, safety is obviously not your first thought. Its transport, safe or not, it gets you from point A to point B.

I bought a Focus, do you think safety was the first thing on my mind?

Can you add an aftermarket stereo to a leased vehicle? Thinkin about leasing the Scion but am not impressed with what is being said about the stereo upgrade

What's wrong with the standard radio?

Think it would be worth it to buy a tC automatic? I have a bad back so no manual for me. Tack on another $600+ for side-airbags too- they should really make them standard in every car.

Nothing wrong with buying an auto - you don't have to always listen to the internet cockjocks who say "autos are for losers, real men drive sticks". Please, I don't need some two bit loser thousands of miles away influencing what car I DRIVE ON A DAILY BASIS.

The standard radio is good but I had to set it to XB mode. For some reason XB and XA mode are a lot louder than TC mode. But once you put it in XB mode, the stock radio is pretty good.

I meant performance-wise. Plus money wise we're talking $1200+ for auto/airbags, which is quite a price-bump. Brings it close to Subaru range, and I get AWD with those and probably a better car overall.

BTW- How do I quote w/attributes?

...so did they fix the hatchback rattling and panoramic sunroof glass popping noise problems?
Those problems seemingly being reported by every other tc owner stopped me from getting it.
got a new Volvo S40 T5 instead, but yeah it cost 7-8 more

The car is TINY as well... I saw one on the road for the 1st time a few days ago and got a good look at it. The images dont to it justice, the thing is like a clown car.

I know you will find this funny NFS4 but I was waiting to cross the street at a light when a new tC with temp plates stopped. When the light turned green, the guy couldn't move his car. He was stuck there trying to get the engine to turn over for at least 4 minutes.

I had a similar problem with my 97 Prelude SH with its engine immobilizer key. It sometimes didn't work properly and I would be stuck trying to get the car to turn on.

Any problems like that with your car?

It's not THAT small. It's only 4" shorter than a Corolla. Now the Mini, THAT is a tiny car.

I never got the tC. Between the numerous reports of first year glitches/problems and the unwillingness of mY Camreeeeeeeeeeeee to die, I've decided to wait another year.
