I have a 60 mile/day round trip commute to work. These new civics are looking awfully tempting. I was considering a scion tc, but the civics get another 10 mpg on top of the scion.

Ah, yes, but then the Civic is a Civic and the tC is a tC. The two don't really compare IMO.

Get the Scion, unless you don't like acceleration. Then get the Civic.
