Editing your own topic or thread? <- MODERATOR, pls. delete

Okay, I read the FAQ, I read the Help, I can't see how (or if!) this can be accomplished. Is it possible for a user to go back and edit the topic of their own thread? Especially in FS/FT....

Thanks!

Edit your topic, guys, not edit your single posting.

I am not talking about a single message, I'm asking about editing the topic of the thread. I see some folks with threads that say, "For sale: computer <ALL SOLD>."

I'm wondering if they're editing the "for sale" thread to say "all sold" later. Maybe they're just starting a new thread. But, is it possible to edit the thread's topic? How about if you own it?
