Editing programs

What a good editing programs that will run good on this computer. Specs:

CPU: Intel 1.8b
Video card: Geforce 4 ti 4200 64 mbs
RAM: 512 SD

more specific as to "editing program"?

You could try Pinnacle Studio for video, or SoundForge for audio.

Adobe Premier only works on XP i think...

i had fairly good results for a project for my senior english class, then again for editing a musical performance i did at school, using the SECOND VERSION of Windows Movie Maker... it's really simple and straight-forward...

but if you want some serious power, Premiere

Ya notepade.exe is pretty good, but I could only get mpegs to work.

Is there any way to get DV, avi, or quicktime to work with it?
