Editing Profile - Password

Why, when you go to edit profile, does it automatically fill in one of the password boxes, therefore throwing the error that the password doesn't match unless you remove it?

The only 2 password boxes I see in my profile are "New Password" and "New Password Verification", neither of which are filled in.

I don't think anyone here has anything to do with Fusetalk and Jason rarely posts here.

When i click on profile, it automatically populates the 'New Password' box.

i doesn't always happen, on my main computer at home , this happens, it doesn't on any others i use

i think it is an issue with how the browser is saving form information, maybe
maybe there is a way to clear the form information? not sure, but it isn't global

That's the autocomplete function of your browser. Perhaps they should change the ID used for the password box on the profile page to a different one than the one on the login pages so that it doesn't try and give you a "new password".

Same here but you can simply overwrite it and that's all.

However it's impossible to edit any system rig in my My Anandtech profile currently - is it me (tried both FF2 and IETab) or everybody else has problems too?
