I've got a compilation album I absolutely love called Misfits of Ska. It's got some pretty esoteric and awesome songs on there, but the sound mix is crap to say the least: way too much treble, not enough bass. I've tried correcting it by hand, as it were, but a simple 200Hz Bass Boost doesn't fix the problem entirely.
Now I have the actual album version of one of the songs on there, which seems to be equalized properly. Is there some way I can look at the frequency breakdown of THAT song, then compare it to the version on Misfits of Ska to figure out what steps need to be taken to restore the appropriate frequency levels?
