Editing Clock

I just noticed that if you post a message at say, 8:00PM, and edit the message at 8:01PM, the clock telling you when edited that message says 9:01PM. Why is that?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Very simple. the edit message dates are not changed by your timezone settings, that is a text string not a date field. So it can not be changed.

It looks like one of the clocks did not update for daylight saving time. Maybe one of the servers is in one of the states that does not use savings time.😉

The edit time says 8 o' clock instead of 5 o' clock. That is a 3 hour difference here in California. The edit clock may be using EST.

Doesn't anyone READ? 🙂 The edit message is set to server time.. EST it is NOT affected by your timezone settings. Clear? 🙂 🙂
