Editing a pdf image on a MacBook

Hi all,

I've never tried to do this on a MacBook, and I'm surprisingly coming up short. I need to edit some images I'm using in a paper. The images are from a musical score; all I really need to do is be able to "whiteout" some extraneous symbols that I don't want visible in the image. It shouldn't be hard! But I'm fighting it here.

Any suggestions?

Actually, I just found a website that made it very easy to do what I wanted to do: PDFescape.com

Thanks, though!
