 Considering purchase of HD TV Card. As they are not really cheap, I would like to know that if I purchase to suit AGP slot in (quite new) system would I be able to use it in the future in a motherboard using PCI express? ( Adaptor?) Conversely IF I can now purchase a PCI express version of the card could it (with adaptor) be able to to used in my current PC?

May have used wrong term. TV card into normal (PCI?) card slot in computer. "AGP" slot is only for graphics card? Does this change the answer?

Only a regualar PCI card would be able to go in both older and newer boards. Most newer boards still have the regular PCI slots.

There is an ECS board with PCI, PCI-E, and AGP slots. However, the AGP slot on the board is hacked into the PCI bus and is not as fast as an actual AGP slot, and it can have compatibility problems.

Basically, the answer to both of your questions is no.
