PSA always call your Compcraptic provider the day you are expecting them to come and hook you up.

I call them at 7am just to verify they are coming today. And they tell me the order was cancelled. They don't know why.

After about 25 minutes, the very, very nice customer service rep got an order in and they will still come today. Imagine if I had waited until 4 pm and called and said no one had come? I would be without high speed, and tv, and personal phone all weekend.

I have a theory as to why the order was cancelled. I ordered xFinity! And according to the Compcrap website (which I checked after the order a couple of week ago) its not available yet in my area.

So, second PSA. If you order xFinity and its not available in your area, make sure they don't cancell the order without telling you.

Oh, and to the hot girl that was trying to email me on my shut down Comcrap email address, I want you to know we had our first date. Only you weren't there. But it did end in sex.....

Update: The rep told me someone would call within the hour to confirm the appt. 2 hours later no call. I call Comcrap again. Get a poor excuse for a customer service rep. Was told they don't know if anyone is coming today.
I ask what the hell does than mean? You either have a work order, or you don't. Apparently this rep. could not understand the question.
I drive down to my local office. They do have an appt. scheduled. Only its between 12-4 and not 8-12 as they first customer service rep told me.
I told the lady at the office, if they're not here by 4:01 (in my best Ahnold voice) "I'll be back"

Comcast successfully no-call/no-showed me THREE TIMES IN A ROW. The first two times they offered a $25 statement credit as an apology, but the third time the customer rep said "we're only supposed to credit up to $50."

I set up several more appointments and made it a point to not be home. Never getting Comcast service in my lifetime. I don't care how many times they change their name.

their HD quality is horrible....and they constantly bill me wrong. I have only been with them for 3 weeks too. I miss FIOS.

Dang that sucks I called my ISP yesterday and later that afternoon they had 2 techs out here.

I have had good service with Comcast. Never had a problem.
Internet speed is 16mb down, 2mb up. Channels are clear and HD looks great.
I guess it's all about where you are located?
