Western Digital (8mb Cache) 7200 RPM - 120 Gigabytes
Seagate (8mb Cache) 7200 RPM - 120 Gigabytes

Will these be compatible in a RAID 0 configuration?

Yes it's just that the smaller one will determine the size of both. (even same mfg's drive will vary by a few MB's much of the time)

Yes. You can RAID anything in software, across any storage interface your computer can mount/format (at least in Linux). Two hard drives, you should also be fine.

As for performance, yes, you'll be good.

The cache doesn't matter much. Although throwing in a 2MB w/ a 8MB isn't ideal, it will just run a little slower (as slow as the slowest drive runs)
