If I had to guess they went over their bandwidth quota and have been locked out by a system administrator. This did get posted on Slashdot, that seems to have a negative effect on peoples webpages.

I agree it was sweet!, and you could get it in 3 configurations. $4,500 for 8 Cely 800s, $6,000 for 8 PIII 1Ghz, with 512M RAM per CPU, or $6,500 for 8 PIII 1Ghz with 1G RAM each CPU! 😀

Maybe they weren't quite ready to go "public", not thinking that any surfers would come across it, so they had to pull the info until they're ready. Or maybe it's just the /. effect!

I wonder if it uses Parallel network protocol or Mosix type of binding... Honestly though there are better optons for these, it is however an excellent package and a nice price!
I would rather have one of these though..LINK!

$4,500, one box with 8 Celeron 800. That's not for me.

If I have the money I will build 5 dual Athlon boxes with XP 1700+ and place them in my garage. For the space saving, I rather have the option to sell them when I need the money. This of course is only my opinion.
