The problem here is that we also have a young audiance. These threads invariably turn into something where people start advocating drug use. You know what is right, so proceed in the right manner. It appears you got your answer.

Perhaps you should have worded it differently and it wouldn't of been locked. To me it didn't sound like you were trying to talk him out of it, it sounded like you wanted to know the side effects instead of advice on an argument.

It was a stupid question to ask in the first place... Oh by the way, here's a few more things your friend shouldn't do:

Sit in a bathtub full of water and blow dry his hair.
Walk in the road at night wearing nothing but black.
Stick his finger in a lightsocket.
