how long after the original post was the edit made?
it appears that vBulletin has a feature where if you edit quickly, i don't know how long, perhaps 30-45 seconds, then it doesn't mark it as an edit
so if someone quotes you quickly while you edit quickly , it can show with no 'edited - time stamp' label

Correct. It's a 1 minute window, IIRC.

This. It sometimes appears to last even bit longer.

It is a click over by the minute counter.

If you post at xx:12:01, you can edit/save until xx:13:59 without is showing as an edit. (Seems like almost 2 minutes delta)
If you save as xx:14:00, it shows as an Edit.

If you post at xx:12:59, you can edit/save until xx:13:59 without is showing as an edit. (Only 1 minute delta)

I think it is a 2 minute window.
