Edit: Ok now I DO have a noob question

Ok, this ia pretty simple question. My psu has all these wires and connections coming out of it. And I have a couple of these ones with 4 wires to 4 pin connectors, which then have 4 wires running to another 4 pin connector, which have wires running to ANOTHER 4 pin connector. All I want to know is do I use the first, middle, or last connector? Does it matter? Ok thanks. Edit again....ok I realized im going to need to use more than a one of these, so which ones do i use i guess i shoul say?

You may use any or all of the 4 pin Molex connectors that come from your PSU. Whatever makes your wiring job neater is what I would go with. Good luck with your build.

I'd use the first connectors from the PSU. (On each line) It provides cleaner power, and for each connector before the one you're using, there's more resistance. Aka: Not so clean power.

There is only extra resistance if you have multiple connections to that one cable. There should be no problem if you use the last connector. If Kensai is thinking about the resistivity of the cable, it is negligible.

Just don't try to connect everything in your computer to one cable unless you have to.

doesnt matter which connector, the amount of power lost is insignificiant and you wont notice it, only problem is daisy chaining too many dirves/hd/fans on one set of wires

I wouldn't connect the vid card on a line that's shared with anything, if possible. The card would eat any voltage fluctuations and noise caused by things like an electric motor. Like I said, if possible.

Also, try not to run devices on the same line as inductive loads like fans and lights. But running HDD's, FDD's and Opticals on the same line is fine. Also if you have enough cables, run the graphics card off it's own dedicated line.

Oh, and NEVER runing anything other than fans on power connectors maked "FAN ONLY". The voltage of this line varies with the temp of the PSU, and running sensitive devices on this line would fry them.
