So I just installed Fedora for the first time (so far it's looking pretty awesome) and I'm trying to get apache going. I've got my index.html file sitting in /var/www/html yet when I try to view the page via another computer on my LAN the connection is refused. I'm logged on as root, have the Fedora firewall disabled at the moment and everything that I can tell looks right in SELinux. What other steps are needed to get apache up and running properly?

First check the basics. Is Apache running? Are there any errors in the Apache error log? Is there anything bad in the kernel logs regarding SELinux?

Bah, I'm a fool. I found the services area and noticed that I hadn't started the httpd service yet. I just started and tried it, I get my index.html page now. More stupid questions to come, stay tuned!
