Company I do work for needs a place to host a small website and their e-mail (forwarding)
I was going to recommend dixiesys to them but with all the problems I've had with e-mail on there lately I'm hesitant to use them. Is there any place that has a small website account with 20 or so e-mails that are always reliable for $20 or so a month?

How much webspace do they need?

How much bandwidth per month?

How soon before they need this webhosting account? Can they wait a few days?

For $13.50/mo you can get a REALLY nice web hosting account with dathorn.com which offers a lot.

Two great features are:
1) This is a resellers account, with WHM (Web hosting manager) your company can issue their own webhosting accounts to whoever they want, subdivisions, personal accounts, new products, etc. You also have the ability to resell the webspace/bandwidth that you're not using.
2) Personalized name servers your company's name servers would be ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com which projects a nice professional image.

If you could get specifics on what you're looking for in a webhost and what you need I'm sure I can set something up to your satisfaction. I'm starting a hosting company called Higherhost.com. I'm building the business around a strong product and stronger customer support and satisfaction. If you're interested, talk to me. I'd be more than happy to setup an account for 2 weeks and let you kick the tires.

You can reach me through PM or email in profile. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have, hosting related or otherwise. :D

Well found out this evening that the ceo has a son who works for a webhosting company and we're going with them.
Thanks for the help even if it did turn out to be moot. :(
